Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Qualifiers 2008! CHS YGO Alumni!
Lol i know the title is abit too exaggerated,and us playing card games...but its true,cause its our hobby,anything wrong with that? Lol. So, of course we planned it b4 hand, but it was just me,shi hao and jun ren. Then Shi Hao said he couldnt make it, left with us 2, thinking whether to go. Then, 4-2 duelists,whom we informed them abt long ago, smsed in saying: Hey,wanna go with us? And woot, of course we are. Met at Bishan j8 at 9am, haha,rainy day, but all of us are super energetic. So, these are the ppl who went. Wei Jie(met us at Kallang Leisure Park later on), Di Long(also met us later on there,caused most probably he overslept.Haha!),enzon and his younger bro, enzen(noisy little kiddo, haha),Nickolas,Justin,Gordon,Jun ren and me. Gosh, nt too bad, for such an outing. And it was last minute too. I called it the CHS YGO Alumni, haha, and requested for school uniform,which of course i was joking. So, some ate Mac while we watch at j8, took train to Kallang. Yes, its at Kallang Leisure Park, the shopping centre near the Singapore Indoor Stadium. I bet all Ncc Air ppl know where is it by now. So, arrived at Kallang, in which, we are kinda lost, cause we dunno what bus to take. Haha, and while looking at the mrt directory at the station, we saw Gay Word Hotel. Haha. And of course, natural perspections led us to point at Gordon. Wahaha! So we were walking around in the slight rain, asking for directions. One man at the bus station saw us and told us what bus to take, and guessed correctly where we were goin. Most probably many other duelists were lost too. Haha. So, we jaywalked, to the interchange, and only to see a big poster saying: Bus 11, To Kallang Leisre Park, all the way at the other end. Lol wth. We jaywalked again. Then boarded the bus, and we started guessing which passenger was a duelist and which was nt, and dreaming of dueling on a bus, with real projectiles and all that. Haha. Then, here comes the 4-2 creative brains. Let me explain. As you see, Justin has a six samurai deck(yes, its one of a theme of the ygo cards decks that u can make), and we started naming each other as 1 of them, according to our poses,personalities, and all that crap. Haha. So, WeiJie is Great Shogun Shien(the boss), Di Long is Shien's footsoldier(cause it looks like a monkey to us), Enzon as Grandmaster of the Six Samurai(Another boss, he looks real identical when he's holding the umbrella), Joshua Mah as Chamberlain Of the Six Samurai(quartermaster!haha,too bad he had church), Nickolas as Zanji,the Six Samurai,Justin as Irou,the Six Samurai, Jun ren as Yaichi,the Six Samurai, Enzen as Kamon,the Six Samurai(haha,its a suicide bomber samurai btw, haha, its bestowed to Enzon's younger bro without much thought, since he was way too noisy and problematic)Gordon as Nisashi,the Six Samurai and me as Yariza,the Six Samurai. Haha,sounds stupid when u think abt it, but that was what it was best to get us ready for the mood to play lol. And we wanted to pose as some card pictures of the samurais, like untiy of the six samurai, and as we duel, we are to pop out of the card when we are summoned lol. Haha jokes. Justin even suggested Cosplay. Haha. So, we reached there and oh boy, great crowd for such a card game. Of course, we didnt join the tournament. Spend $10 and get our butts kicked by professionals? Haha,no way. And we sat aside, along with MANY duelists, walking ard asking for albums, trades,sales and all that. Really cool. And Jun Ren and I noticed many ppl we knew, Hougang duelists,owner of ComicDLegacy, the ygo guy from RI, alot more. Gosh. Girls too play! Aw well. So we sat aside, staring in awe at other ppl's albums, fileld with cards. And when some ppl came ahead and asked: Do u have album? We said: Nope. In fact,we have. Just that no face show a pathetic album, haha. Played, traded,formed decks, till afternoon we went to eat and shop. Hey the food there is really worth it, for a food junction. $3.10 and u have 2 vegs and 1 meat, with like thrice more than in school or hawker centres for economic rice. The shopping centre seemed to be full of onli duelists, at every corner u can see them, in the food junction, in card shops, and of course, the whole first floor. So, we watched as we talked to ppl we know and dun know, and duel around. Then we started to get tired after playing till 3pm, as we were kinda exhausted due to constant card duelings, haha, like what Justin said: Tactical thinking and concentration. Haha! So, Gordon left since he was inferior in the gang(lol,no offence, he didnt wan to duel cause he lost over and over again), and Enzon left with his younger bro(hurray! no more disturbances! Haha). So we stayed on, and there was this pro duelist, selling cards at a dammmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheap price. So, I got a (i will just name the cards,whether u know it or not, all foils btw) Montage Dragon for $4, when it shld be worth $12, Nic got his Dark World foils for $2 each, and some others by Wei Jie and dunno who else. Then, he started giving away foils. Omg. Jun ren and I crowded around him like honey bees, I WAN, I WAN! Lol. And after consistent and persistent annoyance, he said: Okok taketake, dun kajiao me. Lol. And i got a Dedication Through Light And Darkness and Jun Ren got a Multi Piece Golem,and wei Jie bought some cheap cards and got a free foil. Haha, of course we were delighted. He was a pro duelist, but yet so cheap? We started suspecting him for stealing haha. Of course, it was nt for long, since we knew he had lots of much more worth money albums, y would he wan that. So, we started cheering for him in the tournament. Lol, bootlickers we are. So, we saw the girlguy(oops,haha), one of the salesperson at Amk Funzcentre. Lol, and we went to ji siao him again and again. Haha, we were like joking abt him being champion and representing sg, and alas, what do u know? We were right on spot. He WON,OMGWTH. Haha, and I was like: Lets go buy 4d toto. Haha. That was around 7pm, kidna late eh? Oh, Jun Ren and I talked to the owner of ComicDLegacy,Ivan for quite awhile,trading and talking, since we were kinda friend with him haha. And that RI Ygo/Dm guy came and said hi to us. Gosh,such a small world. Haha. So many ppl we know. And my pri sch classmate too. Haha, it was till late night till we left, really happily, we didnt leave emptyhanded,with much company and joy, and went to take a bus. And we saw bus 16, which goes to dhoby ghaut. Jun Ren and I were like, wth? We could have taken that there, since we could take direct train there. Nevertheless, since i regretted forgetting to take photos of the 'samurais'since we were engrossed in dueling, we posed and took photos in the bus with the remaining ppl. Lol. So we reached Dhoby Ghaut, and left for home, with me and Jun Ren on the NEL,while the others,the SEL. Alright, thats abt it, reached home at around 9pm. Gosh, darn tired by then, so thats that. Alright, another blog post! =)

Prelims 2 is over! Yipee!
Haha, as usual, I am too lazy to blog. So, i didnt post anything during the day of my bday. Of course, i will like to say thanks to all who congratulated me and all that. Haha. Prelims 2 is over, and I screwed up everything pretty badly. Aw well... Haha,nt gonna find any excuses for now. Tml's the day i've long awaited. Yes it may sound childish, but whatever. Its the YGO world championship qualifiers! Lol. At Kallang Leisure Park. Nvr really been to any major card game tourney b4, or lets just say,games. Really looking forward to it. Its a miracle though, so many ppl goin. At least 10+ ppl. The CHS YGO Alumni! I suggested wearing sch uni. Haha, of course i was just joking. Nevertheless, tml's the day! Kk, blog tml. Hopefully there will be photo, or maybe,hope that i will update. Haha.
